It's hard to imagine that he, who always provided beautiful pictures of the FRITSCH parties and often spoiled the staff with his homemade cakes, will now unfortunately only be seen at the FRITSCH events.
He did not want an official farewell and no speeches. But the management Max and Sebastian Fritsch, Technical Director Juri Dinges, Head of Development Markus Bund, Head of Development Particle Sizers Günther Crolly and Works Council member Markus Presser took the opportunity to officially bid Karl aka Gyro Gearloose farewell after 37 years in retirement.
He was initially responsible for incoming goods inspection, and this gradually developed into the FRITSCH prototype construction department: custom-made products and parts were built here, and many tests were always conscientiously carried out, recorded and documented by Karl. Countless of his ideas and developments can be found in our instruments today and many ideas from development were built by Karl and some were even registered for patent, such as over 15 patents for the P-6 and P-7 premium.
Our Juri Dinges, who got to know Karl as a working student and who was supported by him as part of his bachelor thesis, particularly appreciated his humanity, reliability and how he created a positive atmosphere with his cheerful whistling alone. We FRITSCHIS wish Karl all the best and we will miss him!
